Powered by Yamaha's own PASS (Pulse Analog Synthesis System) technology, the D-80 delivers the rich, warm, authentic analogue tones that made the Electone series so beloved. With dual upper and lower manuals plus a third manual for solo voices, a full bass pedalboard, foot expression pedal, and comprehensive orchestra, theatre organ, percussion, and auto-rhythm sections — this is a complete, self-contained performance instrument.

The internal Leslie/tremolo unit and spring reverb add that unmistakable vintage warmth and movement to every note. The fully self-amplified heavy-duty built-in speaker cabinet means no external amplification is needed.

📼 Rare Factory Option: Yamaha Music Tape Deck

This unit is fitted with the original under-mounted Yamaha Music Tape Deck — a factory optional extra that is rarely seen surviving intact. Fully wired into the internal preamp, it allows you to record live performances direct to cassette, or play along to your favourite tapes through the organ's own speaker system. A wonderful period feature.

Condition

Generally correct and original throughout, as expected for an instrument of this age. The following minor points are noted for full transparency:

• Return spring needs replacing on the A pedal
• Vibration/rattle from the tremolo unit when certain notes are held — most likely a loose mounting resonating at specific frequencies. The tremolo is otherwise fully functioning, as is the speed control
• Some damage to the speaker cloth caused by a previous owner's cat
• Original bench is not included
